Opened for business in the heart of Historic Downtown Chandler, Arizona. The Uncommon was built around a very unique concept, especially for the location.
It's a 70s, 80s, and 90s themed restaurant / bar / arcade.
What could be more aligned with our nerdy weirdness than a retro arcade bar and restaurant? We created several fascinating and amazing art installations for the 9000 sq ft space. We have a knack for planting the 'remember-berries' of nostalgia and authenticity.
The Uncommon - Chandler, AZ
80s busting out of the 70s Rubiks Cube Mural Installation
The entry needed a bold, eye-catching showpiece. We hand-illustrated, custom-routered, painted, and assembled every element. Built with multiple layers, it truly pops — and has become a focal point for photo ops and conversation.

Larger than Life Rock and Roll Woman
Larger than life and unapologetically bold, this custom hand-illustrated, routered, painted, and assembled piece brings 80s rock energy to the space. Elevated high on the brick wall of the arcade, and illuminated by red light, she commands attention from every angle. A showpiece designed to be seen, remembered, and talked about.

Media Collection and Sticker Collage Installations
When you’re working in an old building with weird spaces in the walls, why not turn them into focal points?
Two faux window shelves became a nostalgic tribute to life in the 90s. We sourced a classic wood media rack, deconstructed it, and rebuilt it to fit the space. The shelves were stacked with cut-down albums, CD cases, and retro finds, all anchored by a durable metal sign for easy cleaning. The result is a playful, eye-catching installation that sparks instant recognition and plenty of “remember when” moments.
The other side showcases a sticker collage print on metal for a fun conversation piece for the booth it is above.

BATHROOMS CAN BE COOL TOO!
Guests will ALWAYS want to be able to find a restroom. When yours aren’t obvious, we have solutions. We designed a vintage stripe to direct traffic to the restrooms in the back part of the large venue. We also added fun metal prints of vintage toy patents to the men’s restrooms for viewing during beer recycling.

ZOLTAR'S GREAT MUSEUM WALL
We went off the ledge on this one. A richly wallpapered backdrop and a one-of-a-kind art installation. We custom built 9 platforms and ordered custom fitted acrylic boxes. Each platform held a unique collection of themed toys and memorabilia.
